Woman Arrested at Wal-Mart

LIBERTY, October 28, 2016 – On October 17, 2016 around 11:32 PM, an Officer with the Liberty Police Department was patrolling the Wal-Mart parking lot when he observed two subjects walking in front of the store.

The Officer recognized one of the subjects from a previous call at Wal-Mart where she had been trespassed from the property.

The Officer conducted a stop on the subjects and identified both.

While making contact with the subjects, identified as Debra Watts age 37, the other subject admitted to having a pipe used to smoke illegal drugs.

The Officer then conducted a search of the purse and located a crystal like substance. Watts and the other subject were then both arrested.

Watts was arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance and transported to jail. The other subject was arrested for Criminal Trespass.

Bond for Watts was set at $10,000 dollars.
