Woman Arrested for Possession

LIBERTY, February 1, 2016 - Officers of the City of Liberty Police Department were dispatched to a local business in reference to suspicious activity

Upon arrival the Officers approached a white 4-door sedan with two subjects located inside of the vehicle in the parking lot of the business.

The Officers made contact with the subjects and explained to them the reason for the Officers being there.

Officers explained that they were there because they had received a call about people possibly using drugs in the parking lot. The Officers then asked for consent to search the vehicle from both occupants. Both gave consent to search.

Upon the Officer searching a purse that was located on the front passenger seat of the vehicle the Officer located a medicine bottle inside of the purse. Inside of the medicine bottle were pills that did not belong to the bottle.

The female subject, identified as Katherine Alicia Tullous age 32 of Wallisville,  was then place into custody for possession of a controlled substance and she was taken to the Liberty County Jail.
