Feathered Friends Art Show LIBERTY, March 1, 2016 - Trinity River National Wildlife Refuge will be hosting the first annual Feathered Friends Art Show this spring. This program will feature artwork showcasing North American birds drawn by local art students of Liberty High School. Artwork will be displayed at the Refuge Headquarters, located at 601 FM 1011, just north of Liberty off of HWY 146. The public is invited to the view the artwork, March 8 thru March 11, 9am-4pm. Awards for winning artwork has been donated by Lower Trinity Valley Bird Club and the Liberty Art County Art League. Winners will be announced on March 11. The Feathered Friends Art Show was created by Refuge Volunteer Frances Oster in effort to help students appreciate the beauty of North American all around them.
