Woman Arrested Furnishing Alcohol to a Minor

LIBERTY, January 5, 2016 - On December 28, 2015 at around 11:13 PM, Officers with the Liberty Police Department responded to the Valero Convenience Store in the 1900 block of US 90 in reference to two intoxicated females.

The Officer was told that one appeared to be a minor and was falling to the ground in the parking lot.

The Officer made contact with the adult suspect and the minor that were in the restroom.

The minor was intoxicated to the point that she vomited on the ground and was laying in it. She was also unable to stand and was going in and out of consciousness.

EMS was called for the minor and the Officer interviewed the adult suspect identified as Taylor Paige Kaderli age 21 of the 100 block of Lone Oak in Liberty.

The suspect then performed standardized field sobriety tests and did poorly.

The suspect admitted to purchasing a bottle of alcohol while going down the road. The suspect also admitted to driving with the minor in the vehicle after she had also consumed the alcohol.

Due to the suspects actions the Officers deemed the suspect a danger to herself or others. The suspect was then arrested and transported to the Liberty County Jail charged with Public Intoxication and Purchase/Furnish alcohol to a Minor.
