Man Found Using Flashlight for Healights

LIBERTY, October 18, 2016 – On October 8, 2016 around 10:27 PM, Officers were conducting a traffic stop in the 1400 block of Hwy 90, when they observed a blue and white pickup enter Hwy 90 with no headlights and the driver holding a flashlight out the driver side window to illuminate the roadway.

Officers attempted to catch up with the vehicle but he ran off the road and got stuck.

The Officers then administered field sobriety test on the subject, identified as Michael Ray Foxworth, Jr. age 46 of Juanita Street in Dayton, TX and he did poorly.

Foxworth agreed to provide a breath sample and it showed to be over the legal limit of 0.08. During the breath test the subject admitted to drug use. The subject also agreed to provide a blood test as well.

Foxworth was charged with DWI 2nd Offense, Failure to Appear/Bail Jumping, Failed to Maintain Financial Responsibility, Operate Motor Vehicle without License Plate and Display expired Inspection Certificate and transported to the Liberty County Jail.

Total of Bonds set for all charges was $6,232 dollars.

Foxworth has en extensive criminal history in Liberty County.
