Houston Woman gives fake Name during Arrest
LIBERTY, November 28, 2016 – On November 25, 2016, Officers initiated a traffic stop on a Silver Ford passenger car in the 1400 block of Webster St for traveling at a high rate of speed.
While speaking to the driver Officers detected a strong odor of alcohol. The Officer also noticed that the driver appeared to be extremely lethargic. The Officer then asked the driver to exit the vehicle. When the driver stepped out of the vehicle, the Officer noticed that she had a glass pipewith burn marks on it that was in the seat where she was sitting. Through previous training and experience the Officer has knowledge that the pipe is consistent of the same ones used to smoke narcotics.
The Officer then placed the driver under arrest and identified the driver. Officers then searched the vehicle incident to arrest.
The Officer then discovered a small white rock like item believed to be crack cocaine between the driver seat and the center console in the back floor board. The item later field tested positive for cocaine.
The Officers also located several fake identification cards, check books and credit cards that belonged to several people. One of the fake identifications had the name on it that she claimed to be. The driver was then read her constitutional rights and asked about how she obtained the checks and credit cards. The driver could not give an answer but instead stated that she was the subject's caregiver.
It was then discovered that she was wanted out of Harris County for felony theft $2500-30k.
Fairchild was charged with Fraud use/possession of identifying information, Possession of a controlled substance, Harris County Credit Card Debit Card abuse and Harris County Theft of property. Total bond on all charges comes to $104,000 dollars.
