Information Sought On Cold Case Murder

LIBERTY, March 3, 2016 - The Liberty County Sheriff’s Office is seeking information on a “cold case” murder that occurred on or about September 1, 2011 on Plantation Ranch Road in south Liberty County. The victim was identified as Carl Terell Wills a 22 year old black male who was found to have been shot, execution style, once in the back of the head and once in the back and left under a bridge on the Ranch Road. The victim was wearing blue jeans and a white “T” shirt and was last seen leaving a friend’s home in San Jacinto County on the day prior to being found by a fisherman in Liberty County.

Sheriff’s lead Investigator Sgt. Billy Knox is asking for any information that might lead to additional knowledge about details of this case or any information that might lead to the identity of the person or persons responsible for this murder.
