Woman Arrested for Cruelty to Animals LIBERTY, December 30, 2016 – On September 14, 2016, at approximately 11:19 AM, the Liberty Police Department received a call from City Hall in reference to city workers being out at a local residence and observing a starved canine on the premises. Animal Control, along with an Officer, responded out to the residence and located a very emaciated dog, that was locked up in a small corner of the back yard, with no food or water. Animal control took custody of the dog and one small kitten who exited through an open door of the residence. Both animals were determined to be infested with fleas as well.
After investigation, on December 29, 2016, Liberty Police Arrested Amanda Diana Belesky age 37 of Woods Drive in Liberty for Cruelty to Non Livestock Animal and transported her to the Liberty County Jail. |
