Woman Arrested with PCP

LIBERTY, April 29, 2015  - On April 20, 2015 at 11:29 PM City of Liberty Police came upon a 2004 white Kia that was stopped in the roadway at MLK and Main Street in Liberty.

Officers made contact with the driver of the vehicle and the driver appeared nervous . He was asked to get out of the vehicle.

The Officers obtained consent to the search the vehicle from the driver.

The driver’s passenger Reshanda Walker was asked to get out of the vehicle as well. When she exited the vehicle the Officer detected the distint odor of PCP. A female Officer arrived on the scene and patted Walker down.

Walker took two cigarettes dipped in PCP from her bra and crushed them on the ground with her hand.

Walker was placed under arrest and 1.2 grams of a substance that tested positive for PCP were found.

Walker was transported to the Liberty County Jail charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance and Tampering with Evidence to Impair Investigation.
