On-Site Mammogram Screenings February 26, 2015 Liberty
LIBERTY, February 6, 2015 - Getting your mammogram has not been so easy! Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service is one of the partners on the Liberty County Health Awareness Coalition who is promoting early screening and detection when cancer is most curable. Through collaborative efforts the coalition is organizing an On-Site Mammography Event with The Rose coming to St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church located at 2401 Trinity in Liberty, TX on February 26, 2015 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. patients will be served by appointment only.
Wondering if you are eligible for a screening! Are you a female, age 35 or older, do not have any breast symptoms or problems, are not currently pregnant or nursing, have a primary care physician, have not been diagnosed with breast cancer within the past 2 years, or have not had a mammogram in the last 12 months? You might just be eligible!
The Rose accepts most insurance plans and has financial assistance available for those who qualify. Those who qualify for financial assistance are those without insurance, females 40 and up, 200% of the poverty level, reside in one of the 24 counties The Rose serves, overdue for a mammogram, have a doctor’s order, and can provide proof of income.
