AT 432 PM CDT...DOPPLER RADAR WAS TRACKING A CLUSTER OF STRONG
THUNDERSTORMS FROM KENEFICK TO DAYTON TO NEAR MONT BELVIEU...MOVING
NORTHEAST AT 25 MPH.

WINDS IN EXCESS OF 40 MPH WILL BE POSSIBLE WITH THIS STORM.

LOCATIONS IMPACTED INCLUDE...
LIBERTY...DAYTON...AMES...DAISETTA...HARDIN...KENEFICK...DAYTON LAKES AND MOSS HILL.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

FREQUENT CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING IS OCCURRING WITH THIS STORM.
LIGHTNING CAN STRIKE 15 MILES AWAY FROM A THUNDERSTORM. SEEK A SAFE
SHELTER INSIDE A BUILDING OR VEHICLE.

.DAY ONE...THIS EVENING AND TONIGHT

SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED TO DIMINISH EARLY
THIS EVENING. UNTIL THEN...A FEW OF THE STORMS COULD PULSE UP TO
STRONG LEVELS AND PRODUCE STRONG GUSTY WINDS...FREQUENT LIGHTNING
AND A QUICK 1 TO 2 INCHES OF RAIN. THE VAST MAJORITY OF
PRECIPITATION SHOULD DISSIPATE BEFORE FIREWORKS SHOWS BEGIN LATER
THIS EVENING.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY
VERY WARM TEMPERATURES WILL RETURN TO THE AREA BY THE END OF NEXT
WEEK. HEAT INDEX VALUES WILL RANGE BETWEEN 100 AND 104 DEGREES.
