Warrants Issued for Capital Murder Suspects
LIBERTY, March 9, 2015 - Sheriff Brian Hawthorne held a press conference today at the Chambers County courthouse. He began by extending his condolences to the families of the two victims.
He reported that at approximately 3:45 yesterday afternoon, Chambers County Sheriff’s deputies, working alongside Baytown Police detectives, discovered the bodies of two young males meeting the physical description and clothing description of two missing teenagers from Baytown.
The bodies were discovered in the west fork of Double Bayou, just south of Eagle Ferry Road bridge. The bodies were intact considering the elements. Preliminary investigation shows the bodies were moved from another rural and remote area of Chambers County to the location where they were found.
Sheriff Hawthorne went on to personally thank Chief Keith Dougherty and the Baytown Police Department detectives for their vigilance and perseverance in this investigation.
At this time a warrant has been issued by Chambers County Sheriff’s Office for 20 year old Brandon Alejandro Flores, H/M for the charge of Capital Murder. Jose Chavez is also being sought as a person of interest in this case. This investigation is ongoing and all leads are being investigated.
