Man Arrested after Three Thefts from Wal-Mart

LIBERTY, May 12, 2015 - Wal-Mart employees summoned the City of Liberty Police to the store to report a theft.

According to police David Lawrence Morrow age 20 had gone into the store with Brenna Lunceford and picked up a child’s toy wagon. Lunceford paid for the wagon and was given the receipt.  She gave the receipt to Morrow.

Lunceford took the toy wagon out to their vehicle. Morrow got another toy wagon off the shelf and took it to customer service for a refund. The wagon cost $139.34

On April 2, 2015 at 5:45 PM Morrow and another male exited the store with a tackle box and receipt. The other male handed Morrow the receipt and morrow went back into the store and selected another tackle box and exited the store without paying for it. The tackle box cost $39.96.

On April 18, 2015 Morrow went in the store around 2:30 PM and purchased a safety vest from the sporting goods area. At about 7:45 PM he returned to the store where he went and selected another safety vest and a box of diapers. Morrow went to customer service and returned the safety vest for a refund and left the store without paying for the diapers.

On April 21, 2015 Judge Little issued three warrants for the arrest of Morrow for Theft of Property and Morrow was arrested on May 6, 2015 and transported to the Liberty County jail.
