Shooting in Winnie
ANAHUAC, September 3, 2015 - Sheriff Brian C. Hawthorne reported that on August 20, 2015 at approximately 10:30 pm, The Chambers County 911 received a call that a man had been shot at a residence on Meneley Road, in Winnie Texas.
Deputy Clement responded to the scene and located a white male identified as 30 year old Kaleb Finn lying on the floor with a gunshot wound to his chest.
Winnie EMS transported Finn to Saint Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont, Texas where he was listed in stable condition. Hernandez was charged with Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon, which is a first degree felony. He was transported to the Chambers County jail where he was arraigned and a bond was set in the amount of $500,000.00.
This case remains under investigation by the Chambers County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division.
