LCSO Makes Drug Arrest

BEAUMONT, February 6, 2015 - Members of the Liberty County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Drug Interdiction Unit working with the Montgomery County Constable’s Office Pct. 4 ran a search warrant issued out of District Judge Mark Morefield’s 75th. District Court at approximately 9:pm last night and at 3:am this morning arrested two subjects on drug charges. Both agencies working on information received earlier arrested Steven (NMN) Hester, age 27 and Patricia Ann Sharp, age 39 of Porter, Texas at a house located at 117 Rice St. in Cleveland, Texas.

Recovered at the scene was approximately six (6) ounces of Meth with a street value of about $4,500 along with drug scales, a pistol and a shotgun. Arresting Officers reported that Hester has a record for drug violations and presently is out on parole for such charges. Both Steven Hester and Patricia Sharp were charged with Manufacture and Delivery of a Controlled Substance and placed in the Liberty County jail. Neither subject has been magistrate at this time but bond is expected to be set later.
