Student’s Computer Stolen at School

LIBERTY, December 1, 2015 - On November 10, 2015 a student at Liberty High School complained to the school resource officer that his tablet computer had be stolen out of his backpack during PE class on November 4, 2015.

Liberty Police located the computer at Cash America Pawn shop where Carlton Godfrey, age 18, also a student at Liberty High School, had pawned it.

Judge Little signed a warrant for the arrest of Godfrey on November 17, 2015 and he was arrested for Theft of Property on November 17, 2015 at the Pawn Shop..

Godfrey was arrested and transported to the Liberty County Jail.
