Two Arrested During Traffic Stop
LIBERTY, December 7, 2015 - On December 2, 2015 Officers of the City of Liberty Police Department initiated a traffic stop on a maroon two-door car in the 500 block of Highway 90.
As the Officer was attempting to get the car to pull over he noticed a clear plastic bag was thrown from the vehicle.
The Officer stopped to retrieve the clear plastic bag and discovered it to contain a crystal like substance.
The Officer then stopped the vehicle that was occupied twice.
One occupant of the vehicle was Curtis Norvell age 45 and the other was Samuel Freeze age 28.
Both occupants stated that the other person threw the substance out the window and denied ownership.
Both occupants were arrested, charge with Possession of a Controlled Substance and transported to the Liberty County Jail.
