Possible Murder/Suicide in South of Dayton

DAYTON, September 21, 2015 - A “911” emergency call to the Liberty County Sheriff’s dispatcher at approximately 1:01pm this afternoon sent Deputy Ruben Arellano to #502 CR 417 in South Liberty County regarding two deceased persons found in the home at that location. According to initial reports, a son of the couple had been trying to contact his parents but was unable to do so. When he arrived at their home, the door was found to be unlocked and when he entered he found his mother deceased on the floor from an apparent gunshot wound and his father a few feet away also deceased from a gunshot wound with a hand gun lying nearby.

The investigation is continuing and names will be released as soon as it is appropriate to family members who have yet to be notified.
