Two Women Arrested After Disturbance

LIBERTY, July 21, 2015 - On July 18, 2015 at 6:00 AM an Officer responded to a disturbance in the parking lot of the Police Station in Liberty. The officer made contact with the people involved in the disturbance in the back parking lot and determined he needed assistance from the Sheriff’s Officer due to what they wanted to report happening in Ames.

Duncan told the Officer her vehicle had been hit by Lakeisha Davis the other woman involved in the disturbance.

Duncan stated Davis had been following her and hit her vehicle.

The Deputy conducted his investigation and determined that both of the females would  be transported to jail.

Liberty PD transported Duncan to Jail. Upon arrival the Officer checked under the back seat and found a clear, plastic baggy filled with a green leafy substance and one pill.

Christine Duncan age 38 was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Marijuana and Displaying Fictitious license Plate.

Lakeisha Davis was charged with Driving with no Driver’s License and transported to the Liberty County Jail.
