$7,500 Reward Offered for Most Wanted Fugitive From El Paso
AUSTIN, April 8, 2015 – The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) has added James Lee Matley, 40, to the Texas 10 Most Wanted Fugitives list, and a cash reward up to $7,500 is now being offered for information leading to his capture. The Texas Chicano Brotherhood gang member has a violent criminal history and is currently wanted for parole violation. All tips are guaranteed to be anonymous.
Matley has ties to the El Paso, Victoria, Edna (Jackson County), and South Texas areas. His criminal history includes burglary, assault causing bodily injury and deadly conduct. Matley has been known to work in the metal working, oilfield and construction industries. Texas Crime Stoppers, which is funded by the Governor’s Criminal Justice Division, offers cash rewards to any person who provides information that leads to the arrest of one of the Texas 10 Most Wanted fugitives or sex offenders.
To be eligible for the cash rewards, there are five different ways to provide anonymous tips:

Do not attempt to apprehend these fugitives; they are considered armed and dangerous.
