Lone Star Guardians Cook-Off benefiting CASA
LIBERTY, March 16, 2015 -We are writing to you in reference to a sponsorship and donation opportunity with the, 1st annual Lone Star Guardians Cook-Off, benefiting CASA of Liberty/Chambers County. In addition to sponsorships, we are actively seeking donations for our live auction on Saturday, April 11th at 6:00pm.
CASA has a simply stated mission that outlines an extremely difficult task. When home is no longer safe for a child, and the child must enter the foster care system, a judge may appoint a committed volunteer called a CASA or court appointed special advocate. The CASA volunteer's focus is on that child, giving hope and help in guiding the child to a safe, permanent home.
CASA would greatly appreciate your support. In 2015, the help of your organization, along with others, will allow us to host over 20 different Texas cook-off teams, as well as a live bands on Friday April 10th & Saturday night April 11th. 100% of all proceeds will go to CASA of Liberty /Chambers County and will be utilized specifically in Liberty and Chambers counties. We anticipate that more than 800 volunteers and spectators will be in attendance, and the event will be covered by the local newspaper, radio and television station. We are anxiously looking forward to the success of this year’s event, and truly expect that this event will only grow with your help. Please take a minute to look at CASA’s website to help you understand why helping CASA to succeed in our counties is so important.
