Trinity River Status

LIBERTY, June 11, 2015 – On June 11, 2015 at 4:00 PM the release from the Lake Livingston Dam remains at 68,200 cubic feet per second and the lake level remains at 132 feet, which is 1 foot over normal pool level.

No changes in the release are anticipated in the near future.

Trinity River levels:

Romayor 36.74 and stable

Liberty 29.5 and stable ( approx. 3.5 feet above flood stage)

Moss Bluff 14.3 and stable ( 2.1 feet above flood stage)

Red Cross Shelter remains open at 318 San Jacinto Street in Liberty and 15 people took shelter at the facility last night.

Still no word on the FEMA Individual Assistance Program,however, we have been included in the United States Department of Agriculture Declaration. This declaration makes impacted farm operators eligible for low interest loans from the Farm Service Agency. We will provide additional data on that program when we receive information on the application process.
