LIBERTY, December 16, 2015 – The release at the Lake Livingston Dam has remained at 74,800 cubic feet per second today, and the lake level has dropped slightly,currently at 133.29.
It is not known if the release will be increased at this time,however, we will update any changes.
Currently the Trinity River is rising throughout Liberty County,with the level at 36.97 in Romayor, 28.84 in Liberty and 14.6 in Moss Bluff.
Current projections take the river to major flood stage of 29.6 ( 3.6 feet above flood stage ) in Liberty by Friday afternoon and up to 15.2 ( 3 feet above flood stage ) in Moss Bluff on Saturday.
Water continues to rise on roadways in most river front subdivisions, however we have no reports of water in any residences and we do not anticipate any water in homes tonight.
