Dayton Man Arrested for DWI
DAYTON, March 19, 2015 - On March 15, 2015 at 12:15 AM the City of Dayton Police Department was notified of a possible intoxicated driver by an Officer who had just got off from work.
Officer located the vehicle on Main Street at the train tracks and pulled behind the vehicle to make a traffic stop. The driver put the vehicle in reverse and backed up almost striking the patrol vehicle.
The Officer attempted to administer the standard field sobriety test but was unsuccessful.
A blood search warrant was obtained signed by Judge Tommy Chambers.
Boyd was arrested, charged with DWI second offense and transported to the Liberty County Jail.
