This position is responsible for assisting with small business development, agribusiness development, farmer’s market/Cooperative Development, community resources, business financing, home ownership, and community organization development in Liberty County.
Location: Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service – Liberty County, 501 Palmer Avenue, Liberty, TX 77575
Education Requirement: Master’s Degree in Community and Economic Development, Business, Accounting, Agricultural Economics, Finance, Education, Management, Public Administration, Public Policy, Agri-Business, Economic Development or closely related field required. Applicants with a Bachelor’s degree will be considered contingent upon agreement to get a Master’s Degree within eight (8) years of employment.
Preferred Experience: Three to five years of professional experience educating individuals in the area of small business development, agribusiness development, farmer’s market/cooperative development, community resources, business financing, home ownership, or community organization development.
