Dayton Man Dies in House Fire

DAYTON, April 14, 2014 – A Dayton man lost his life in a manufactured home fire early Saturday morning on CR 6035 west of Dayton.

The victim has been tentatively identified as Robert William approximately 65 years old from vehicle registration of a vehicle parked at the trailer and neighbors.

The victim was found lying on his bedroom floor in the badly burned home.

Deputy Rasberry a certified arson investigator conducted the preliminary investigation on the scene the night of the fire and the follow-up investigation will be conducted by Jim Wilson, County Fire Marshal and Sgt. Investigator Billy Knox  with LCSO.

The preliminary investigation indicates that the fire was accidental but remains still under investigation at this time.
