Narcotics Investigation Yields Arrests
DAYTON, September 26, 2014 – On Wednesday September 24, 2014 the Liberty County Precinct 4 Constables Office and the Dayton Police Department conducted a joint narcotics investigation at the Thrif-Tee Food Center in Dayton which resulted in the seizure of approximately one half ounce of methamphetamine with an estimated street value of about $1400.00
Acting on a tip from within the community, investigators were prompted to be on the lookout for a black Volvo passenger car that was alleged dropping off a package of methamphetamine.
Officers staked out the area and witnessed an exchange which resulted in the arrest of two suspects identified as 43 year old Susan Finley of 9545 Highway 321 in Dayton, Texas and 38 year old Kevin Greak of 736 Legend Parkway in Kingsland, Texas.
Finley was charged with Delivery of a Controlled Substance, in Penalty Group 1, more than 4 grams but less than 200 grams, a first degree felony and is currently incarcerated at the Liberty County Jail on a $50,000.00 bond.
Greak was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance, in Penalty Group 1, more than 4 grams but less than 200 grams, a second degree felony and is currently incarcerated at the Liberty County Jail on a $30,000.00 bond.
