Sixth Grade School Teacher Arrested for Drug Possession
LIBERTY, March 8, 2014 – An early Saturday morning arrest in Liberty around 1:35 AM, all got started at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo at Reliant Stadium in Houston.
Two young men who are students at the University of Houston in a late model, black Mercedes were double dating and had taken their dates to the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo for the evening.
Near Reliant Stadium a red sedan struck their Mercedes. Both the driver of the Mercedes and the driver of the red sedan exchanged information and in the process the driver of the Mercedes noticed that the female driver of the sedan appeared to be on something as police describe it. The driver of the Mercedes told the driver of the red sedan that he had decided to call the police to have the accident investigated. At that point the woman jumped in her car and took off with her front seat passenger.
The driver of the Mercedes with his friend and their girl friends in the back seat Andrew Rayford, followed the fleeing woman in the red sedan.
During the trip from Reliant Stadium while communicating by cell phone to the police, the driver of the Mercedes was passed from one law enforcement agency to another throughout their long late night journey to Liberty, including the Dayton Police Department.
Office Walters and Officer Longoria of the City of Liberty Police Department finally stopped the hit and run red, sedan driven by Kristen Dianne Lucas age 24 of the Houston area at the intersection of Beaumont Ave and the SH 146 Bypass in Liberty.
During the early morning traffic stop Lucas was found to be in possession of KUSH and the passenger, Justin Andrew Goudeau age 25 also of the Houston area was found to be in possession of Marijuana. Both were arrested and transported to the Liberty County Jail.
The driver, Lucas, has friends and family in Moss Hill, TX and is a sixth grade school teacher teaching social studies at McAuliffe Middle School for the Fort Bend Independent School District according to the school District's website.
