Liberty County Leaders in Action Training Orientation Invitation

LIBERTY, June 28, 2014 - Liberty County Leaders in Action is a professional development training opportunity for individuals looking for ways to develop their leadership skills and become more involved in the economic development of our community. Through networking and establishing new partnerships, individuals will not only become better leader in their community but within the company they work. Through the use of an asset-based community leadership development experience, the participant will be able to better identify and activate community assets, work together on projects identified as important to your community and build a dialogue among residents and organizations toward a cohesive goal. This unique opportunity is a wonderful resume booster and a great opportunity to network with other leaders around the state and gain Continuing Education Credits.

Thinking of an individual who may be interested in this awesome opportunity provided through Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service and the Texas Rural Leadership Program, encourage them to come to an orientation to find out more about the training sessions and to decide if they want to make a commitment to the training. The training will be at least an 8 week commitment, once per week for a couple of hours on Monday evening. The training will cost $50, which covers all materials including handbook and support materials. Come learn more about the upcoming training at a short orientation Monday, June 30th, at 5:30 p.m. The orientation will be held at the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Office of Liberty County at 501 Palmer Ave. in Liberty, Texas.
