Search Warrant Served on Residence on FM 2830 South

LIBERTY, February 12, 2014 - As a result of an investigation conducted by the office of Liberty County Pct #4 Constable Robby Thornton and  the office of Daisetta Police Department Chief Mike Parrish, intelligence indicated that there was probable cause to believe that narcotics were being sold from a residence located at 1327 FM Hwy 2830 South in the Community of Raywood, Liberty County, Texas. 

This information was enough to allow the Liberty County Pct #4 Constable's office to obtain a search warrant.

On Wednesday, 02/05/2014, at approximately 9:55 PM, officers of Liberty County Pct #4 Constable's Office, Liberty County Pct $2 Constable's Office and the Daisetta Police Department, assisted by the Liberty County Sheriff's Office SWAT team, executed a search warrant on 1327 FM Hwy 2830 South resulting in the recovery of illegal narcotics and the arrest of 56-year-old Danny Lynn Lambert who was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1, a third degree felony.

Approximately nineteen pieces of an off-white rock-like substance believed to be crack cocaine was recovered from the master bedroom of the residence along with several small clear plastic bags believed to be used for distribution purposes.  Also recovered were two cellular telephones, a small amount of drug paraphernalia and three-hundred-seven-dollars ($307.00) cash.

Danny Lynn Lambert was transported to the Liberty County Jail where he was released to the jail staff for booking.  Lambert was assigned a $10,000.00 bond.
