Police Seek Help Identifying Subject

LIBERTY, September 2, 2014 - On Sunday August 31st shortly after 9:00 p.m. Liberty Police responded near the intersection of N. Travis and Monta in reference to an attempted kidnapping. 

During the initial investigation police determined that a male teenage boy was sitting on a bench in the area.  The teenager described a vehicle drove up, the driver made comments to the teenager then attempted to grab him, and possibly pull him into the car.  The teenage boy was able to free himself and run away.

Police received a description of the male driver as a 50-60 year old, white male, with white hair, balding on top.  The vehicle the subject was driving is described as possibly a white in color Lincoln.

Police are asking that if anyone knows the possible identity of this subject who is wanted only for questioning to call the Liberty Police Department at 936-336-5666.  Anonymous tips are always welcome.
