Do You Know this Burglary Suspect?

TARKINGTON, December 31, 2014 - On Tuesday, December 23, 2014, Deputy Justin Johnston responded to a residential burglary on CR 2282 just off FM 163 in the Tarkington Prairie area just South of Cleveland, Texas. The home owner reported to Dep. Johnston that numerous personal items were stolen from his residence which included two (2) pistols. The home owner had security cameras operational and from the attached two (2) photos the suspect is seen at the front door of the home attempting to make entry by kicking the door in but was unsuccessful. Shortly thereafter the suspect made entry through a window near the front door. After the home burglary, the suspect left the scene in an unknown make and model white passenger car.

After closer review of the security camera video footage, Patrol Captain Mark Ellington stated that it appears the suspect had a pistol in his waist band and thus, the suspect can only be considered armed and dangerous.

Anyone having information regarding this burglary and/or the identity of the white male suspect is ask to call the Liberty County Sheriff’s Office at (936) 336-4500 and provide that information to Investigators.
