Felony Warrant Roundup
LIBERTY, October 27, 2014 – A joint effort by the U.S. Marshals Office, Liberty County Sheriff’s Department along with the Department of Public Safety, the Liberty Police Department and Cleveland Police Department resulted in the arrest of five (5) felons who were arrested in the latest “warrant roundup” in Liberty County. All were wanted on outstanding felony warrants and have now been placed in the Liberty County jail on various charges.
During “Warrant Roundup” of October 24th, Gloria May Mize, DOB 11-10-70 was arrested for Revocation Of Community Supervision/Possession of a Controlled Substance as well as Revocation of Community Service/Possession of Certain Chemicals With Intent to Manufacture a Controlled Substance, Namely Methamphetamine.
Georgia Jean Hibbard, DOB 05-06-72, Revocation Of Community Supervision/Forgery of a Financial Insturment
Darryl Wayne Pierce, DOB 12-27-66, Driving While Intoxicated, 3rd or More Offenses.
Kevin Gerard Berotte, DOB 05-25-75, Revocation Of Community Supervision/Possession Of a Controlled Substance/Habitual Offender and Revocation of Community Supervision/Evading Arrest or Detention With Previous Convictions.
Carla Ann White, DOB 04-07-66, Capias Order Setting Aside Bond Aggregate/ Theft of Property over $ 1500/20K.
Arresting law enforcement personnel stated that more arrest can be expected in the future as this “roundup” will continue. Agencies further advises that should anyone know or suspect they have outstanding warrants, either felony or misdemeanors, they should contact the Liberty County Sheriff’s Department at (936) 336-4500 in an attempt to clear up their warrants prior to being arrested at their homes or place of employment.
