Two Arrested with “Kush”
LIBERTY, January 22, 2014 - Shortly before midnight on Wednesday Officer Martinez of the City of Liberty Police Department conducted a traffic stop on a white sedan that pulled into the Chevron Convenience Store at US 90 and FM 563.
During the stop the driver was identified as James Wells age 33 and the passenger was identified as Carol Hall age 32 both of Liberty.
Discovered in the vehicle was a significant amount of synthetic marijuana known as “Kush.” The total weight was 43 grams.
Neither the driver nor the passenger would claim ownership of the Kush so both Wells and Hall were taken into custody, charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance and transported to the Liberty County Jail.
