Liberty Police Seeking Assistance in Armed Robbery

LIBERTY, June 9, 2014 - Police are asking for help identifying a possible suspect in an armed robbery.  The robbery occurred around 2:00 a.m. Monday morning the 9th of June.  One white male subject held up employees at gun point shortly after 2:00 a.m.  at the Jack in the Box on North Main in Liberty.  The subject appeared to be a white male, early 20’s, wearing grey shorts with black stripes down the side.  Subject was also wearing a red fitted shirt with grey tennis shoes with grey and black socks.  Subject was also wearing a black hat and a black back pack.

No one was hurt in the incident and it is estimated the suspect got away with a little over $400.

Anyone with information should contact the Liberty Police Dept. @ 936-336-5666 and ask to speak with any investigator.  Tips and information can be kept anonymous.
