Accident US 90 in Dayton
DAYTON, February 14, 2014 - Around 6:00 PM on Friday a two-vehicle accident occurred on US 90 at Waco Street that sent and 82-year old man to Houston by Life Flight.
According to Officer Ibarra of the Dayton Police Department a white Jeep driven by Robert Skove age 82 of Dayton was traveling south on Waco Street and disregarded the stop sign while attempting a left turn to travel east on US 90.
The Jeep was struck broadside by a white Ford Focus traveling west on US 90 and driven by Tiffany David age 23 of Liberty.
Liberty County EMS responded to the accident scene and prepared Robert Skove for transport by Life Flight to Houston’s Hermann Hospital in critical condition.
The Dayton Volunteer Fire Department assisted in traffic control at the accident scene during the clean up and investigation of the accident.
