HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

LIBERTY, November 15, 2014 - TODAY AND TONIGHT WE WILL BE MONITORING THE POTENTIAL FOR ISOLATED STRONG STORMS MAINLY SOUTH THROUGH EAST OF HIGHWAY 59 TONIGHT AS A DISTURBANCE MOVES UP THE MIDDLE TEXAS COAST AND ACROSS SOUTHEAST TEXAS. UNCERTAINTY CONTINUES REGARDING THE TRACK OF THIS DISTURBANCE...BUT IT APPEARS LOCATIONS NEAR THE IMMEDIATE COAST AND OFFSHORE WILL SEE THE BETTER CHANCES OF SEEING STRONG STORMS.

SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY WE WILL CONTINUE TO BE MONITORING THE POTENTIAL FOR ISOLATED STRONG STORMS SOUTH THROUGH EAST OF HIGHWAY 59 ON SUNDAY. AGAIN...IT APPEARS LOCATIONS NEAR THE IMMEDIATE COAST AND OFFSHORE WILL SEE THE BETTER CHANCES OF SEEING STRONG STORMS. SOME LOCALLY HEAVY RAIN IS POSSIBLE... AND RAINFALL TOTALS SATURDAY NIGHT THROUGH MONDAY MORNING MIGHT GET INTO A 1 TO 3 INCH RANGE...ESPECIALLY BETWEEN THE HOUSTON/GALVESTON AREA AND THE BEAUMONT AREA. A STRONG COLD FRONT WILL SWEEP THROUGH THE AREA ON SUNDAY NIGHT...AND IT WILL BECOME BREEZY BEHIND THE FRONT. WIND ADVISORIES MIGHT BE NEEDED ALONG THE COAST ON SUNDAY NIGHT AND MONDAY. IT WILL ALSO TURN COLDER...AND AREAS MAINLY TO NORTH OF THE HOUSTON METRO AREA COULD SEE ANOTHER LIGHT FREEZE TUESDAY AND WEDNESDAY MORNINGS.
