April is National Child Abuse Prevention Month

LIBERTY, April 17, 2014 – Pinwheels for Prevention®is a program to spread awareness about child abuse. The members of the three Federated clubs in Liberty place these pinwheels at the Humphrey Cultural Center each year.

The pinwheel is used as a symbol for child abuse and neglect prevention, reminding everyone that all children deserve a bright future. With millions of pinwheels distributed since the program began in April 2008, and pinwheel activities in nearly every state, Pinwheels for Prevention® is soaring here at home, throughout Texas, and across America. Drive by the library and see the pinwheels blow!
