Two Arrested on North Main Street
LIBERTY, December 1, 2014 - On Friday, November 28, 2014, City of Liberty Police attempted a traffic stop on a vehicle for having no license plate light and failure to maintain a single lane in the 1200 block of North Main Street.
While making contact with the driver the officer noticed a strong odor of alcohol and observed open containers in the cup holder.
The driver was asked to submit to a series of field sobriety tests and performed poorly.
The driver, Camille Bernard age 46, was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated and the passenger in the vehicle was also found to be intoxicated. Robert Aldridge age 51 was arrested for Public Intoxication.
Both were transported to the Liberty County Jail.
