ComCast Cable Cut in Liberty
LIBERTY, February 14, 2014 - The City of Liberty Police Department reported today that around 7:00 AM on Friday they received a report that a Comcast Communications cable was cut in Liberty that apparently interrupted internet and some VOIP voice communications here in Liberty for several hours.
According to investor Chip Fairchild the Liberty Police Department is investigating the matter and that two locations were involved in the cable cuts. One location was near Virginia and Sam Houston and the other was near the 800 block of Washington in Liberty.
Verizon, ComCast and Internet Management Service were all affected by the outage.
According to Internet Management Services their service was up and running again by around midday.
