Dayton ISD Bond Election Passes
DAYTON, November 5, 2014 - Voters in Dayton ISD was almost equally divided in the Proposed 87 million dollar bond election as throughout the evening the voting totals were very close.
The measure passed 2188 to 2092 votes a difference of 96 votes. In percentage terms it was 51.12% to 48.88%.
There certainly is no mandate from the voters for this election.
It is elections like this one that demonstrate how important voting is.
Ninty-six voters decided to spend 87 million dollars.
This bond election could have easily gone the other way.
