Moss Bluff Pursuit Update
LIBERTY, March 2, 2013 – In our story of yesterday concerning the police pursuit which started in Liberty and ended on CR 1336 in Moss Bluff Officer Frank Longoria told i-dineout.com that witnesses on the scene identified the owner of the pickup in the pursuit as William Bryant of CR 1335 only a short distance away from the scene. The man's actual name is William Bryant, Jr.

According to Officer Longoria when officers questioned Bryant about the truck he claimed that he had loaned it to a friend.
It was later in the early morning hours of Saturday during the complete investigation into the incident and the truck involved it was discovered that the truck had been reported stolen out of Dayton.
Searching our archives turned up a William Bryant, Jr. that was arrested on February 16, 2011at Wal-Mart who was 36 years old at the time and we confirmed that the person identified as the owner of the truck and the person in our story of February 16, 2011 who is now 38 years old is the same person.
According to Jail Records Bryant was arrested around 9:30 AM Saturday by LCSO Deputies and transported to the Liberty County Jail on three outstanding traffic warrants Failure to Appear and No Driver’s License and is tonight in the Liberty County Jail.
Furthermore according to Lt. Chip Fairchild Bryant has been in and out of prison since our story about his arrest at Wal-Mart in February of 2011.

So who is William Bryant, Jr.?
He is the man who was arrested at Wal-Mart for Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Marijuana in February of 2011 and when taken into custody and searched was found to be carrying a large, light purple colored dildo in his front pants pocket.
Liberty Police are continuing their investigation into last night’s pursuit, those involved and the vehicle involved.
