Basics of Plant Propagation Program
LIBERTY, January 28, 2013 - Wondering just how to get those plants started for spring? Do you have plants that have gotten way too root bound for the pots they are in? Oh, and those plants that just seem way too crowded for the flower beds they are in, but you are unsure what to do with them? If these problems are familiar to you, join the Liberty County Master Gardener Association to learn the Basics of Plant Propagation on Thursday evening, February 14th at 7:00 p.m. Verrna Gibson, Texas Master Gardener Plant Propagation Specialist, will guide the participants in learning to divide plants and begin their own from cuttings and rootings. THIS IS A PROGRAM YOU WON’T WANT TO MISS!! The Pot Luck Dinner begins at 6:30 p.m. (make sure to bring a covered dish if you are planning to eat) with the program at 7:00 p.m. RSVP by the close of business day on Tuesday, February 12th by calling the Extension Office at 936-334-3230 so enough educational materials will be on hand.
