Alleged Combative Shoplifter Arrested LIBERTY, December 11, 2013 - According to Detective Jennifer Bowles of the City of Liberty Police Department, Officers were dispatched to Wal-Mart in Liberty on Thursday, December 5, 2013 for a woman dressed in white shirt and green pants who pushed her way beyond Wal-Mart security out of the store with jewelry, a wallet, two x-box controllers and a back pack without paying for the them.

Officers arrived to find the woman running in the parking lot where she was detained and returned to the store.

The woman became belligerent and kicked the computer printer while reviewing surveillance tapes.

The woman identified as Reshonda Walker age 36 of Dayton, was arrested and during transport to jail she got out of the seat belt in the back of the patrol vehicle kicking the partition and the radar camera in the vehicle.

Walker was arrested for Theft with two or more convictions and Assault Causing Bodily Injury.

 

Hardin Man Arrested for Shoplifting LIBERTY, December 11, 2013 – Last Thursday City of Liberty Police Officers were dispatched to Wal-Mart for a man who was alleged to have picked up 26 items in the store including food, household items and left the store without paying for them.

The value of the stolen items amounted to $86.40.

The man was identified as David Deshazo age 45 of Hardin who was charged with Organized Retail Theft and transported to the Liberty County Jail.

 

Theft of Debit/Credit Card at Wal-Mart LIBERTY, December 11, 2013 – The Liberty Police Department is investigating a case of Debit/Credit Card Abuse. On December 9, 2013 a complainant filed a report about a debit card that was missing at Wal-Mart since December 3rd. The card was used and reported to police.

Police are still investigating this case and no arrest has yet been made.
