Men Accused of Stealing Baby Monitors
LIBERTY, September 10, 2013 – On Thursday, September 5, 2013 Liberty Police responded to a call at Wal-Mart in response to a theft. Two men were accused of stealing two baby monitors, one with color screen and the other with a black & white screen.
The men were stopped by store employees after they exited the store and were attempting to get into their car.
Anthony Walker age 32 and Graydon McCarty age 30, both of Liberty, were attempting to leave the parking lot in McCarty’s vehicle.
McCarty has an extensive criminal history in Liberty County including possession of drugs and assualt causing bodily injury.
Walker has an extensive criminal record including Burglary, Assault causing Bodily Injury, Credit Card Abuse and Theft.
Both were taken into custody with McCarty charged with Organized Retail Theft and Walker being charged with Theft of Property and Resisting Arrest after refusing to get into the patrol vehicle for transport to Jail.
