Magnolia District Honors Nancy Brandli with Outstanding Clubwoman Volunteer

LIBERTY, April 19, 2013 - At the recent TFWC Magnolia District Meeting, Chairperson Jean McAdams from Cleveland surprised Nancy Brandli with the plaque for Outstanding Clubwoman Volunteer for 2013.

Mrs. Brandli is currently President of the Liberty Woman's Club, a founding officer of the Liberty County Master Gardeners' Ass'n, founding President of the Liberty County Genealogical Society and an officer of Libertad Chapter, NSDAR.

She retired from teaching Adult Litercy and English as a 2nd Language in 2010 with 31 years of service. In the past she has served as President of the Friends of the Liberty Municipal Library, was recognized as the Outstanding Literacy Volunteer at the Regional Level by NSDAR, and was honored by NSDAR with the Conservation Medal.

The Liberty-Dayton Chamber of Commerce named her the Outstanding Citizen of the Year in 2003. She served 5 years as Chairperson for the Texas-Lousiana Commission for Women. She is also a Paul Harris Fellow.
