Liberty Police Make Arrest on Theft and Criminal Mischief

LIBERTY, October 15, 2013 - On Tuesday, October 15, 2013, Liberty Police served warrants related to Theft, Criminal Mischief, and Parole violation.

Liberty Police arrested Bart Alan Moss age 35 of Liberty on two warrants.  Both warrants are related to recent investigations.  

The first warrant was for Theft of a boat on Confederate St in Liberty which happened during July of 2013.  The second warrant is related to Criminal Mischief which occurred during the early morning hours this past Sunday morning.  Moss pulled down a meter pole at Precise Safety and Consulting on Hwy 90 attempting to take the wiring from the pole and box.

Also at the Moss residence on East street at the time the warrants were served was Paul Best Jr. age 32 of Liberty who had a Parole Violation Warrant.

Moss and Best are in Liberty County Jail.
