LISD Teacher Arrested at Midnight

LIBERTY, April 17, 2013 – On Tuesday, April 16th, shortly before midnight, Liberty Police Department arrested 29 year old Valerie Celeste Moore for Improper Relationship between Educator and Student.  City of Liberty Municipal Judge Mike Little issued the warrant and bond has been set at $25,000. by Judge Stephen Hebert.  This charge  is a 2nd degree felony.  The arrest is the result of investigation into improper relationship between educator and student at Liberty High School. Moore a resident of Houston drove from her home to Liberty near midnight to turn herself in to Liberty Police after a conversation with law enforcement concerning the warrant they had for her arrest.

Moore's message to the public on the Liberty ISD website is as follows...

According to the Liberty County Sheriff's Department at 10:06 AM on Wednesday, Moore is still in the process of being booked into the jail and additional information will be available once that process is complete.
