Livingston Man Arrested for Shoplifting and Possession

LIBERTY, October 2, 2013 - Liberty Police were called to Wal-Mart on late Sunday afternoon where Wal-Mart employees claimed they saw a man conceal items on his person and in a bag exiting the store without paying for the merchandise.

The merchandise consisted of body spray, deoderant, shower gel, colgne, a lock, batteries and infant clothes totaling $88.00 in value.

The man was identified as Christopher McCall age 28 of Livingston. McCall has an extensive criminal history including charges for Evading Arrest, Possession of Dangerous Drugs, Burglary of a Building and Public Intoxication.

When taken into custody McCall was found to be in possession of a controlled substance consisting of several pills according to police.

He was taken into custody on charges of Organized Retail Theft and Possession of a Controlled Substance.
