Traffic Stop at Family Dollar

DAYTON, December 6, 2013 - Officer Hart of the Dayton Police Department conducted a traffic stop on November 23rd in the parking lot of the Family Dollar Store in Dayton on a vehicle that had no inspection sticker. The driver of the vehicle was Glean McBride.

According to Dayton Police the driver was nervous and the driver was asked if he had any weapons in the vehicle. McBride said there were no weapons.

Officers obtained consent to search the vehicle and found in the vehicle was a package of synthetic marijuana also known as cush.

McBride was taken into custody, charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance and transported to the Liberty County Jail.
